Through the soundtracks of Ennio Morricone and Edda Dell’Orso, a surprisingly existential portrait of beauty and self-esteem takes shape. Supermodel Veruschka von Lehndorff both wrote and stars in the film, which is directed by fashion photographer Franco Rubartelli. The film ventures into a surreal and melancholic journey through the Italian countryside. Veiled in paint or altered by animalistic guise, Veruschka appears as both iconic and elusive, best known for her radical self-transformations.
The screening will be introduced by Marketa Uhlirova from the Fashion Film Festival in London.
This is the fourth screening as part of "Fabricated Frames", a monthly film club curated by International Library of Fashion Research at Cinemateket in Oslo. Get your tickets now via cinemateket.no. See you Wednesday December 3rd at 18.00!
