Slow Fashion Book Club meeting #2

Wednesday, December 11, 2024 – 17:45Wednesday, December 11, 2024 – 19:00

International Library of Fashion Research presents the Slow Fashion Book Club! Once a month, the book club will explore the intersection between fashion, environmentalism and social issues through a selected book. What impact does design, aesthetics and our sartorial choices have on the people around us and the planet? Slow Fashion Book Club is an open reading group for all seasoned industry nerds and curious newcomers.

This month's book is Loved Clothes Last - How the Joy of Rewearing and Repairing Your Clothes Can Be a Revolutionary Act, by Orsola de Castro, co-founder of the world’s largest fashion activism movement, Fashion Revolution.

Meet up with fellow readers and discuss the book on Wednesday, 11th of December at 18.45-20.00.

Sign up, if you haven't already, via theslowfashionbookclub@gmail.com. Welcome!
